Filmmaker to teach teens the biz | Events

Tampa, Florida -- The Friends of the Upper Tampa Bay Library are offering a special treat for teens interested in film making.

They've invited award winning filmmaker, Banks Helfrich, to meet with the teens to not only screen short films and documentaries, but teach the kids how to make short films for YouTube and film festivals.

The event is Thursday, June 28 at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room and is open to teens ages 12-18. 

It should last about an hour.
