Oldsmar, Florida - The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that our fifth annual Freedom Fest celebration will be held on State Street in Oldsmar Memorial Day weekend May 24, 25 and 26.

Freedom Fest is presented to honor our first responders - police, fire, fire rescue and our active and retired military. There were will be a special motorcycle show on Saturday honoring bikes in each of these categories.

The event will feature some of the most popular rock bands in the region including, but not limited to:

Tampa, Florida-- Temps are heating up as Summer steadily approaches, so what better way to celebrate than with a free ice cream cone from your local Häagen-Dazs?! 

The famous ice cream brand has announced the return of Free Cone Day, and they're hoping to top last year's complimentary cone count of over 205,000!

So on Tuesday, May 14  from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Tampa locals can visit the following stores for some free scoops:

Hillsborough County, Florida-- Commissioner Kevin Beckner, District 6, Countywide, is hosting office hours in the community one Wednesday every month for the rest of the year.

According to the commissioner, the office hours will take place in various spots around the county to give residents a chance to meet with him one-on-one and  share ideas and/or  voice concerns without having to travel to County Center in downtown Tampa.

No appointment is necessary and residents are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
